Welcome to my teacher page. I am James Meeks. I am originally from Texas and currently reside in Southwest Florida with my wife and 5 children. I am retired from the United States Navy and have been a General Manager for two multi-million dollar organizations. I began teaching because to me the prodigy of America is what I consider to be our lands most treasured commodity. The technology I enjoy using to teach you civics and history is computer integration with overhead projection. This will be used to play games, such as Jeopardy, watch video's concerning American History and Civics, and study sites such as Quizlet. I teach History and Civics through the use of philosophy on the bedrock in which America was founded on and how our country functions today.
